The Residential Program serves individuals in whichever setting is best suited to their needs, living independently, with family members, or in a state-qualified Host Home.

Compensation and Benefits:
- $50,000-$55,000 per year

Job Functions
Job Search Assistance:
- Conduct initial assessments to identify clients' skills, strengths, and employment goals
- Assist clients in obtaining community employment, including building resumes, job application process, schedule interviews with potential employers, interview preparation, and following up with recruiters
- Transportation to and from interviews may be required for some clients
On the Job Support:
- Monitor client’s performance and progress, offering feedback and strategies for improvement
- Assist clients communicate with coworkers and management
- Assist clients in advocating for their needs while at work
- Commitment to adhering to safe and healthy practices by complying with workplace safety and health policies and procedures and reporting unsafe work conditions at job sites
- Maintain proper community supervision requirements
- Transportation to and from work may be required for some clients
Admin Work:
- Complete daily notes and goals tracking through Spectrum’s provided online tools and monthly paperwork
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in human services or related field is preferred.
Certifications
- ACRE certification preferred; Spectrum will provide an opportunity to complete certification if needed
Experience:
- One year of experience working with adults with I/DD or working in community integrated employment is preferred
Additional Requirements:
- High energy, positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for caring for others
- Pass a Criminal and Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background check
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record in good standing. Reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance
- Ability to travel in the Denver and Metro area to meet with clients
- Dependable and Punctual
- Good written, verbal communication and comprehension skills
- Excellent communication skills with peers and staff members
Physical Requirements
- Able to provide all elements of hands-on care per client’s individual needs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 4-5 hours.
- Must be able to stop, bend and reach overhead
- Drive to and from shifts

- CPR/First Aid/Universal Precautions
- QMAP-Med Administration
- Safety Care Behavioral Safety Training
