Position: Job Coach for Male Adult with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Client has a history of forming inappropriate attachments to female staff, and that requires a male support.
Status: Part Time 20 hours a week but can increase hours depending on candidate's availability. Please submit your application only if you are available for the following shifts:

- Monday and Tuesday: 11:45-5:15 in Aurora (80013)
- Thursdays and Fridays 8:45am-2:15pm- Aurora (80013)
Compensation: $20.00-$25.00 an hour based on experience.
Position Overview:
Job Coaches serve as liaison between individuals with disabilities and their employer to provide maximum opportunity for competitive integrated employment.
As a Job Coach, not only are you able to help them meet their goals and learn new skills, but you get to work with the kindest population, all while observing their intellectual and developmental growth.
Job Functions:
- Assist client understand the functions and additional tasks of their jobs.
- Provides support to employers as agreed upon by clients, which may include negotiating job accommodation and follow-along contact by the employment specialist with the employer.
- Assist clients communicate with coworkers and management.
- Assist clients in advocating for their needs while at work.
- Adhere to safe and healthy practices by complying with workplace safety and health policies and procedures and reporting unsafe work conditions at job sites.
- Maintain proper community supervision requirements.
- Providing transportation to and from work is required for client.
- Complete daily notes and goals tracking through Spectrum’s provided online tools and monthly paperwork.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 18 years of age of older
- High energy, positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for caring for others.
- Pass a Criminal and Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background check.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License and has a driving record in good standing.
- Reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance.
- Dependable and Punctual
- Positive attitude, compassionate and critical thinking.
- Good written, verbal communication and comprehension skills
- Excellent communication skills with peers and staff members.
- Non-certified Job Coaches are encouraged to apply. Training and certification will be provided.
Physical Requirements
- Able to provide all elements of hands-on care per client’s individual needs.
- Transferring clients for supported employment is assessed on a case-by-case basis and is not required for all positions.
Experience
- At least one year working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.

- QMAP-Med Administration
- Safety Care Behavioral Safety Training
