We understand that this is a part time job and we provide flexible schedules that work with you to make sure we are taking care of our wonderful clients.

Compensation:

$17.00-$25.00 an hour

Responsibilities include:

• Transport client to and from workplace. ( you are paid while transporting)
• Create a fun and interactive environment for your clients.
• Understand that employers are customers too; must understand how we are supporting our clients so that they are an asset to their place of employment.
• Complete monitoring on a regular basis to ensure employment is successful and long-term.
• Maintain ongoing communication between employee, their employer, and Spectrum Management. Exhibit professionalism to employer’s concerns, needs and desires.
• Identify accommodations that may be needed for employee or employer to ensure successful employment.
• Advocate for employee; report any sign of mistreatment, abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
• Documentation each contact with employee/client.
• Support employee with time-off requests, team meetings and any needed workplace support.
• Assist clients understand the functions and additional tasks of their jobs.
• Maintain proper community supervision requirements

Job Requirements:

· At least 18 years of age of older

· High energy, positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for caring for others

· Pass a Criminal and Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background check

· Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance. All Providers will need to provide transportation in your own vehicle to either Day Program or errands in the community (all time spent transporting clients is part of compensation)

· Able to provide all elements of hands-on care per client’s individual needs

· Able to bend, sit, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds.

· Transferring clients for supported employment is assessed on a case by case basis and is not required for all positions.

· Able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and be mentally adaptable in dealing with multiple individuals with challenging behaviors

· Emotional stability and personal stability are important attributes for Direct Care Providers

Current Open Position

- Labor job with client that operates heavy machinery and does a lot of manual labor.

- Client is very independent but needs guidance with staying on track and helping him focus.

- Client can't be left alone.

-Client needs transportation to and from work. (works on north end of Fort Collins and lives 10-15 minutes away)

· Able to complete daily notes and goals tracking through Spectrum’s provided online tools and monthly paperwork
